WHO IS CROIX-VIEW FARM?
Croix-View Farm held it's first event in 2016. Since then we've hosted over 100 weddings, and several community/other events.
We purchased the property in 2012. I was 8 months pregnant with our Son, and moving. That was a challenge! We were fortunate to purchase this property from the Engelhardt family. Who had farmed here for over 100 years. The barn itself was built around 1870. The picture on the right is of the farm before our house was built, the barn was added on to, and the new sheds were built. As a love of vintage, I so wish we still had some of the buildings! Just think what we could use them for events for!!!
The clean-up and renovation took about a year. It's hard to believe couples contracted when we were up to our eyeballs in dust....literally. But they did, and as they say, the rest is history.

My name is Sara Haase and I am the CEO of Croix-View Farm. While I have hired some help recently, I am in general a one women show. So it's not uncommon in a weeks time to see me on the mower, planting flowers, cleaning and setting up the barn, doing the marketing, and engaging with current and new clients, as well as potential clients.
I have always been in an event planning/marketing role. But this is the very first time in my life I feel so patiently about something. Maybe because it's mine. Or maybe because it's so darn fun. Always fun? No, not always. I will admit I did not expect it to be as much work as it is. That being said, I wouldn't trade it.
I am a people person and people pleaser by nature. So it is very important for me to not only get to know you and your significant other and what makes you tick, But to also pick up on the family dynamics and meet with you to make sure if there's any interference that needs to be ran between personalities to make sure you are calm and collected on your big day, I will!
Stress free is my goal. To work with you and your vision to achieve the event of your dreams. To offer flexibility in vendor options to help you keep things affordable and within budget. To 'keep it real' (and I do) if I think maybe there's some unrealistic pieces to the planning. Or to mainly help you save money on things that typically aren't popular. (i.e. To many smores supplies.)
I pride myself on forming relationships with my couples, which is why many I still keep in contact and are friends with today. This is NOT just a transaction for me. This is our family home that we are hosting you and your guests at. And to that, I do not take for granted.
So if you are here....consider yourself friended. Because that is how I see you! And I wouldn't want it any other way!
